Keyhole Maximium Access Posterior lumbar interbody fusion (MAS PLIF) with real-time Neuro-monitoring (Video)

This is another technique for accessing the spine through single incision rather than multiple small incisions as in keyhole MAS TLIF. It is generally indicated in patients with osteoporosis as the screws in this technique targets stronger parts of the spine with less risks of screw loosening. As with MAS TLIF, it also preserves back muscle and deploys neuro-monitoring to prevent nerve injury.
